This film was tailor made for Jack Webb (Joe Friday of Dragnet)as
a Parris Island Marine Drill Sergeant. I snickered throughout this
flick when I first saw it in 1987, but a number of former-soldier reviewers
at imdb.com liked Jack's 'hard-hitting performance' and the film's 'realism'.
Too bad Harry Morgan wasn't cast in a role as assistant D.I. Now I
would have really gotten a charge outta that! ~AH
