You have to realize that S. is a pick of the crop from HBO. Did you ever watch, say, Arlen? Or the dreadful Sex in the City?As for the networks, many, many episodes of NYPD Blue and Homicide: Life on the Streets (somewhat similar genre) can be matched show-for-show against S.
Then we have the tremendously exciting 24.
Hope you don't just enjoy hearing "fucking" all the time, it's such a boring, repetitive adjective.
