Yet another nice release from Criterion. Contains the unedited version of the film ( theatrical relase here was cut by approx 20 minutes ) and another excellent commentary by Stephen Prince. Lots of extras in this 2 disc set, including a piece that put together Kurosawa's storyboards (coloured) in order, with dial and sfx. Oh yeah, and a few Suntory whiskey ads with Coppola thrown in for good measure.
The 2-disc rerelease of Seven Samurai, and I believe 'Ran' as well, are in the works.
