I forgot to mention that a line from "Three Days of the Condor" also appears in "The Interpreter" as well as two or three other Pollack films. That line is "You think that not being caught in a lieis the same as telling the truth". Pollack mentions this in his Charlie Rose interview, where he also observes that "Most movies are lousy, including some of mine".
