It predates his trilogy, but already has some of his trademarks. A wonderful movie in its own right, but certainly not a film for someone not used to his style and sense of loneliness. If you are, you will find plenty there to enjoy... and to torture you. A bit unusual, as it goes against the standard grain of male/female relationship.
