Well...I'm finally on the Scarlett Johansson bandwagon. I've been unimpressed with her in the several films I had seen her in previously. Scarlett does a fine job in ALSFBL. The physical nuance(especially the facial nuance) of her performance was captivating. Her acting was vastly superior to that of the other leads(John Travolta, Gabriel Macht) in the film. I wouldn't say the movie was great, although it does seem to tap into the essence of New Orleans pretty well. Plotline and characters were interesting enough to keep me engrossed for the duration.
