Clark Gable, William Powell, and Myrna Loy star in this tale of two boys from different families who are orpahaned in a steamboat fire in 1904. When they grow up Gable runs a speakeasy gambling joint and Powell has just been appointed District Attorney. Loy plays Gable's girlfriend who becomes involved with Powell. Light and fanciful but worth a look.
