Anyone else seen this? I do recommend it on the big screen, to capture the scenery of New Mexico.
This isn't "The Wild Bunch," but it is nonetheless a fairly decent movie. It has an extra 12-14 minutes or so added--hence, extended. Since I can't remember the "shortened version," I'm didn't notice in the movie where the footage was added (but numerous Internet sites review it).
By far, Richard Harris was the most interesting character--a "rebel" leading Confederates!
As I was watching the battle scenes, with numerous individuals falling off horses, etc., I keep wondering whether many of these stunt men got hurt--fractured arms, etc. It looks pretty rough--no special effects . . .
