been as wonderful... I agree with the other poster that the role of Scarecrow/Dr. Crane appeared to be played by a 20 year old....Apparently the actor that played the part, auditioned for the role of Batman and made such an impression on the director that he offered him the villian role. Glad he went with Bale...Batman needs to be an imposing figure both as Batman and Bruce Wayne...a 5'9" actor just won't cut it.....Overall though I loved the look of this film...very dark. It was somewhat like the Tim Burton films which I really did like. The only thing that spoiled the first Batman movie for me was the lousy Prince songs! I'm looking forward to the next installment!
