Saw Madagascar yesterday and found it really offensive.

First there was Ben Stiller doing the lion, but let it pass, let it pass. The zebra was a street-black character voiced as a shallow street-black character. A racial parody. How offensive! Why can't we all just get along -- and talk the same?

The giraffe was a faggy neurotic, or again a parody of one. Why can't he just be made to act normal?

And the woman in the star quartet was a hippo! That's not amusing.

Worst of all, Ali G was the Lemur King and he spoke in an accent that made fun of all foreign accents.

How much better, and more *sensitively*, we would all get along if such stereotypical portrayals were avoided and we all spoke standard English.

The movie wasn't very funny either.
