I had seen this thoughtful Rohmer film before, but tonight viewing was still captivating.I like Trintignant's character quite a bit, his internal conflict makes sense to me.
Not a quick paced movie, but if you are in a mood for insightful conversation and a bit of self analysis this will do nicely.
Ah, and the beautiful and seductive Françoise Fabian will not spoil your evening either.
This movie should go extremely well on a cold evening by the fireplace... with a good glass of Port and snow outside.
