She pointed out that Visconti wanted to shoot the "Sodom and Gomorrah" sequence from "A la recherche du temps perdu" with Brando as Baron de Charlus, and wrote that it should be Brando as Charlus looking at this young man walking about in his towel, not the repressed character Lancaster played.A shame Visconti never got the chance to make that film.
