Which version did you see? there are several out there. I don't know what the difference between the rated and unrated versions is, as far as what footage is added. I was told some of the puppet gore and puppet sex was deleted, but I can't confirm it.
Yes, the jokes were hit and miss-some were good some not so good. All were pretty crude. Some gags went on too long, and I never forgot that I was watching puppets.
I got a few good laughs out of it, but I won't bother watching it again.
