To each his own. I'll take the superior character development and intricate weaving of personal stories in The Exorcist any day. The introspective study of good v. evil and the brilliant directorial choice to allow the audience to make up their own minds as to the meaning and consequenses of evil and the human existance. you just don't find that kind of depth and layers in horror films."Aliens? Not really sure how that even entered the discusion. Aliens is an action scifi movie. Alien OTOH was a real horror film. Classic lurking monster movie with great art direction. Very very cool movie. Had me on edge the whole way."I find it hard to beieve any adult would find it horrifying."
