"American Grafitti"

This coming of age film has aged very well and is still as enjoyable as when it came out in 1972. Walter Murch (sp?) did a fantastic job of using the 50's tunes in different acoustic environments. There are two license plate references to Lucas' "THX 1138". For the latest DVD Lucas digitally painted in clouds in the sky at sunset in the opening shot. And the final sequence showing what happened to the male characters is just as chilling as it's ever been. A wonderful film.
