One of the best things about getting satellite I thought when it first was installed was that we'd get that lots of great indies and foreign. Well, after a year we're canceling.
Tonight is a great example: Raising Arizona is the primetime offering. Not too bad unless you note it's been on a gazillion times in just the last few months.
Really, a pathetic list of offerings is the norm.
Years ago, I watched their very clever ads featuring a Russian guy teaching a bunch of film students and thought I was missing something. Now, I am: a butt-load of money with but a few hours to show for it.
Netflix, here I come!
