Infernal Affairs

First post on the film thread I am excited. Based on the Rottentomatoes 90%+ rating of this film we took it out from our local BB---wow what a film. Action up the kazoo, drama, mystery and fine acting. The directing and score were IMO very good. But what was most interesting from an audiophile's perspective was one of the 2 main characters was an audiophile while the other was an audiophile salesman. The high end HK store in which the first 'audio scene' took place had the most beautiful tube amps I have ever seen. Then during an audition of one these amps the buyer suggests an interconnect change to the salesman and once the switch was made they both remark how great of an improvement it revealed. The way the 2 characters listened to a demo, the comments they made, the body language and the type of music played (more on the music later) strongly suggests the director *or somebody in the film) is an audiophile.

Questions what was the interconnect and what was the lovely female vocal cd they played? The sound was wonderful. I won't stop looking and asking until I identify and buy that cd.
