When a tragic accident (not seen on screen) kills his zoo vetranerian wife, a young builder dontes her heart. Minnie Driver recieves it. A year later they meet by chance and begin a relationship. Minnie is the grandchild of Carroll O'Conner, and he and his restaurant buddies have a lot of screen time.At first blush this soiunds like a typical manipulative Hollywood daye movie but I found it strangly moving and compelling.
