I think the problem with the newer Bond films are the villans are pretty forgettable. None of them recently has been as menacing as Largo, or Goldfinger, or any of the range of actors who played Blofeld (c'mon, he's Dr. Evil :)How about a list of actors to play new villans to help out the lame studio management?
Kevin Spacey - He's creepy, and can play a sophisticated creep.
Willem Dafoe - Obvious, he was a great villan in Spiderman
Jude Law - Another obvious choice, but may be too young still.
Yun-Fat Chow - A villan who could actually kick Bond's ass!
Laurence Fishburn - A smart, big, hulking guy, as above.
Vinnie Jones or Jason Statham - 'cause Snatch was awesome
Gary Oldman - Practically is a Bond villan already. He can probably write his own lines.
Jean Reno - Maybe without the beard so he doesn't look like the same character he's played in the last dozen movies. Good actor, though.More?
