The film Makers changed the time and venue of this Dickens classic to present day coastal Florida. Ethan Hawk and Gyyneth Paltrow star and are abley assisted by the late Anne Bancroft and Robert Di Nero. This film contains one of the most erotic scenes I have ever seen in a commercially released non-porno film. A ood update but of course not as good as the clasic 1946 David Lean film.
