This is a documentary about the history of polio in the United States. It traces the epidemics by decades and chronicles the development of the Salk dead virus vaccine and the Sabin live virus vaccine. It also documents the fierce rivalry between the two men. Olympia Dukakis narrates. Some polio victims contribute their experiences. All in all, fascinating.
