Ahhhhh...boredom.Some people are so easily bored and others are almost immune to boredom. It seems to me a knack for finding value in things - either entertainment or educational value - is a much more fortunate state of affairs than a tendency to be easily bored.
I wonder if boredom is more likely if one passively approaches a film or anything else for that matter, expecting it go "give" you something without one's having to be an active consumer.
I am struck by how often you (Victor) claim to be bored by a film. This signals to me a low boredoem threshhold, and this can certainly say something about a consumer as well as about what's consumed...
Boredom is a rare presence in my life, I must say, and it usually surfaces when I'm tired or generally worn down...
