It had quite a following in the midnight rerun "camp" crowd for a long time.I saw it in the original theatre run and (hard to believe I know), girls in the audience actually screamed. But it was a long time ago when teenage girls would scream so teenage boys would feel free to comfort them, so maybe that was it.
Times have changed, haven't they?
