and I think Howard's daughter is an interesting new face. Phoenix has an unpredictability I enjoy, something a bit sinister about him.
Though I think the "The Piano" guy overdid his role, I thought the pivotal scene in the cabin with Phoenix's character was explosive.
This film is about moods, symbols.... almost had a Wim Wenders feel to it. You probably wouldn't like the Japanese After Life or Wenders Wings of Desire, either.
