Well the first two third are just Hollywoodish with, how could it be else, uttermost professionalistic, but cliches riden to the bone.
The last part is reedeming, the raison d´être of it all.

A courageous film, a humanistic one too. Beyond politic and / or religion the naked human being shine through.
