Ask Jeeves? Maybe if that were Jeevowitz. Shakespeare above all this Jewish hatred? Not likely. He could write a good play or two, but that doesn't exempt him from what was so commonplace. It would/should take more than the Act 3 tour de force--Shylock to convince me that WS was not antisemetic. Shakespeare had plenty of opportunity/possibilites with Shylock. After all he was his creattion.
