Home Films/DVD Asylum

Movies from comedy to drama to your favorite Hollyweird Star.

Actually, the reviewer was talking about Hayden Christensen, not Lucas, but generally, I agree.

The best line in the review was the one which followed it:

"Lucas could have cast Pauly Shore for all the good it would have done the film."

That remark not only rings true, but creates an amusing mental image.

OTOH, reviewer Mark A. Perigard missed a golden opportunity with his closing lines: "Did I say it’s over? In one of the features, a producer speculates about Lucas reworking the film in an extended edition in a few years." - "We may never be free from this farce."

That last line, especially, lacks the sarcasm needed to drive home the triteness of Lucas's prequels. A better comment would've been: "It looks like the farce may be with us, forever."

Cheers,
