I had written on the profound effect that film had on me, and last night I again caught a few episodes. The effect was so strong I had to turn if off right away. The almost physical sensation of undeserved torture was more than I could handle.The cold cruelty of the main character, coupled with her mostly soft voice creates a painful impression, and I can think of no other such film.
If you have not seen it - you must, and if you have - give me your impression.
