...Champions (with John Hurt) about a horse and jockey overcoming potentially fatal injur/illness etc. But unlike most horse movies - this one is really quite nice.I have a special fondness for Eight Men Out because A) I admire the work of John Sayles & love the amazing cast, and B) I'm in it. Somewhere. 8MO was filmed mostly in my home-town of Indy and we went down to be extras one chilly morning for scenes at the old Bush Stadium, which doubled for both ballparks in the film.
Being from Indiana, most of my friends like Hoosiers & Rudy.
