Especially if you like Anouk, and ESPECIALLY if you recently saw her in La Dolce Vita.... hmmmmmm.... that moniker! Compared to that role, in Lola she looks downright unattractive - hard to believe, knowing her and what presence she can have. The movie itself is just a trivial sappy melodrama.OTOH... if you already have the Netflix, and it only cost you a buck-fifty or so... why not look yourself?
I suppose it is a great movie for those who loved The Umbrellas of Cherbourg - did you see that one? If not, take a look. I think most people will walk away after first twenty minutes, but some will stay and love it. We saw it again, after decades, recently, and I quickly turned to something else, but my wife sez she enjoyed it. But you might find it entertaining and unusual - and at the very least you will witness an experiment that is worth mentioning.
