Terrible killings occur in a military shack at the border of N and S Korea and a novice is sent in to whitewash the situation and defuse the potential for war.
Since so much of the film depends on clever plot twists I'll dispense with any plot summary and merely say: Go forth and rent!
The acting uniformly is excellent, absolutely free from the mannerisms our actors feel obliged to use: smoking, the wiggly eyeball thing, exaggerated and inappropriate voicings, etc.
Like the similarly sterling "Oldboy," this one stands up to repeated viewings (I watched it the next day, as well, with even more enjoyment).
