Thanks for your recent post about Kurosawa's "Red Beard". Put it on the queue, and watched it over two sittings.
Great film. I think I'm finally starting to enjoy his movies. I didn't care for "Rashomon", and I thought that "Seven Samurai" was decent enough. But over Christmas break I watched "Ran" at a friend's house. For several weeks afterwards, I kept thinking about the movie off and on. Just certain images that wouldn't leave my head...
And now with "Red Beard", I can say that I genuinely enjoyed this film a great deal.
