Pedro Almodovar wrote and directed this unusual tale of two men, stangers at the beginning of the film but close friends by the end, who are caring for two comatose women, one a bull fighter and the other a young ballerina injured in a severe car accident. There is a silent black and white sequence that is truly outrageous and daring. Though very unusual this film is oddly very moving. Beautifully done.
