...liked The Cnnstant Gardener and are fans of Abbas Kiarostami.I don't know why, because I like docs, but I haven't seen this yet, even though it's out on DVD. It's on my list...which just seems to be getting longer.
ABC Africa is a small scale, personal take of a huge catastrophe. Kiarostami is master of the documentary as he is of larger forms. (He originally shot footage of his trip to Africa on UN mission as a personal notebook of his trip - but decided the material could stand on its own and should be seen.)
I'm always interested in what Kiarostami is up to.
