Not a brilliant or excellent effort, yet this ghost/serial killer/thriller has more than enough interesting plot turns to keep those looking for entertainment happy for a couple of hours. What makes this film worthy of a mention, however, is the quality of the performances: the two sisters and the little girl are splendid. The husband, too, resists all opportunities for over-emotiveness and gives a sympathetic performance.
In what seems to be a Korean national film trait, the story proceeds backwards and forwards, stopping occasionally for an interesting stroll which seemingly is disconnected.
Did I mention how beautiful the actresses are, yet?
