Lucky Number SLevin

It's one of those: nothing-is-as-it-appears pieces. In a good way, though. Josh Hartnett is a young smartass who unbeknowingly gets into the middle of a competing mobsters predicament represented by Ben Kingsley and Morgan Freeman. Bruce Willis plays the background as the assassin for hire while Harnett bounces back and forth helplessly caught in the middle. To say anymore about the plot would risk serious spoilage. This film bounces from deadly serious to light comedy (with Lucy Liu being the fluff element) and back again several times.

The ending is somewhat shocking and disturbing as nothing-was-as-it-appeared. Definitely worth a view.

Ex nihilo, nihil fit . . .
