Ka-poe-TAY....

...that's "Capote" for those of you who missed the Mad TV bit the night before the Academy Awards.

I watched this on last night and while I was amazed at Hoffman's performance, I thought the story was a little threadbare and weak. There had to be much more to Truman's and Perry's relationship which the film only hinted at. I've heard it desribed as erotic and that certainly was't depicted.

I'd give it a solid B, though.

It made me want to read the book, which I haven't. I did see the film version of the book which starred Robert Blake back in the 1960s, IIRC.
