Last night I alternated between this film (where the Boston Red Sox win) and the live game with Cleveland in hi fef (where they got creamed). The film stars Drew barrymore and Jimmy Fallon and although it is set in Boston large portions were filmed in Toronto.
Fallon is a math teacher who meets Barrymore at her office where he takes a grioup of promising students on a field trip. It is Fall and they start a relationship, she unaware that he is obsessed with the Red Sox and has season tickets which he shares with a group of buddies. When the season starts he completely changes and she starts to freak until he gradually seduces her into becoming a fan. I've seen thuis three times and always enjoy it, although it is by the Farrelly brothers, whose gilms I don't uauallly care for.
