"Blown Away"

Jeff bridges, Tommy Lee Jones, and Forrest Whitacker star in this story of a Boston bomb squad police officer trying to solve a series of deadly bomb explosions in the city. Jones is a formwer IRA terrorist and has a surprisingly (to these ears at least) successful accent. Jones is the bomber and eventually threatens Bridges and his fiance and her child. A bit unbelievable at the end where high speeds are shown on city streets just after the annual Fourth Of July Pops concert, which would be impossible at the time. Still, enjoyable if you overlook the uneven Boston accents on the part of the actors.
