The Oppo OPDV971H has supurb digital conversion, Faroudja processing and Oppo's customer/product support is hard to beat. BTW, the Oppo's PAL/NTSC conversion is so good that after setting the region code to "0" (which is a simple menu assisted process) all regions will look stunning, especially from the DVI output!>>> "Do you have any issues with PAL vs NTSC on a region-free player?" <<<
