Hidden and Antonioni's The Passenger

I saw Hidden yesterday (along with Dave Chapelle's Block PArty... not a double bill!!) and today I saw The Passenger while my car was being serviced.
Hidden stars Daniel Autueil and Juliette Binoche as a couple who find videos of their house and parts of their lives left on their dorrstep, and there begins a tale back into earlier lives and the consiquences thereof.
I really enjoyed it because it doesn't spell everything out for you, you need to engage your brain and not all the loose ends are tied up, just like life...
There is apparently a clue in the last scene but unless its extremely obvious, I didn't get it.
Good enough to see.
Today I saw The Passenger in a new release. Jack Nicholson stars as a reporter who walks out of his life and into someone else's only to find that he is now the sort of person he was previously investigating.
Its a convoluted "hunter becomes the prey" sort of plot and well worth the effort.
Again, its a film that needs a little thought and both these films make me glad I didn't bother with Mission Impossible...
