Julianne Moore leaves no acting cliche untapped. Anyday now, we'll be reading that she's checked herself into a "fat farm" 'cause she sure chewed up a lot of scenery in this one.
I can't recall a decent film she's been in.
Sam Jackson, on the other hand, is one of our best actors. I don't mind a guy phoning in a performance for a paycheck but did Sam have to work so hard at being so bad?
I've been trying all afternoon to find one redeeming thing about this, one flower in this truckload of manure, but I can't think of one.
Hideous.
