I watched most of this DVD last night. Good Lord, what a piece of sh*t this one is. The acting is weak, the plot is very predicatable and the movie runs way too long. Woody seems unable to recognize that he can no longer create interesting relationship movies. (And this one wasn't even enjoyable as mindless entertainment imho.) One of the more painful things to see in MP were the two (very) brief references to Dostoyevsky. Was this "clever" foreshadowing a sad attempt by Woody to add artistic credibility to this banal movie? And what's the big deal with Scarlett Jo? Granted she's easy on the eyes and has a terrific rack, but she is not a good actress. While Scarlett's performance in MP was as solid as any of the other actors, that speaks more to the poor acting of the rest of the cast than to her prowess.
