This one works on many levels because of the superbly chosen cast and Martin Brest's direction. Bounty hunter Robert DeNiro has to bring Charles Grodin across the country to make a bond deadline mob accountant and theif Grodin has run away from. Along the way the two are bedeviled by the FBI, ths mob, local police, and a rival bounty hunter. Also along the way they bond and become buddies. Half way through, Grodin convinces DeNiro to stop and visit his ex wife and a nine year old daughter he hasn't seen since she was a baby. There are many funny characters and lines throughout and the picture bears up to many watchings. The DVD is an early one and is not anamorphic nor in multi-channel sound (OK by me since I play it back with Pro Logic II Music). There is also no menu to speak of, only scene selection.
