This has a bit of "Run, Lola, Run" to it in that the young heroine dashes through the city --- in this case, Jerusalem--- to steal looks at the contenders.
Because she is Palestinian, she must confront armed troops, checkpoints, and their attendent delays as she races the clock.
What is it like to live in the Palestinian areas of Israel?
Since our networks don't or won't produce programs showing it, this is the closest you'll get to seeing what life must be like.
But the film stands as a dramatic work, even though, like "Z," it has an extremely strong political message.
