Guy,"Video" is actually derived from Vulgate Latin, "Vi" = "Vhy" or "Why", "d'" = "da", and "EO" equals "Ee-Oe" which is Medieval Latin for "he-hole". So, "Video" = "Vy -d'-E/O" is altogether the rhetorical question: "Why the gay asshole?" In England still, whenever people see Prince Charles parading by, there are murmurs in the crowd: "video, video, video".
Now, I've got one for you: How about this other Latin word from a popular movie: "C'mon Starsky- Let's "volvo" !"
