Did you like "Waking Life?"
I didn't since the animation style gave me a visual hangover after fifteen minutes or so. The story was forgettable, too.
The animation this time around, however, isn't as herky-jerky, though the changing "clothing" is very, very visually strange.
Anyhow, Phillip K. Dick wrote the book (story?) upon which this is based.
Not much of a story, actually... at least not very original today. Not much suspense, either, since we don't really know what's happening very clearly until somewhere near the mid-point.
But... it was entertaining.
Wynona Ryder is very good, though I am biased in the extreme about her.
There are several scenes with her which I hope and pray will be released in "reality" mode.
So, I'd say go see it if you like animation.
Did I mention Keanu is quite good and Robt. Downey is waaaay over the top.
Warning: the opening sequence is one of the most disturbing I can recall.
