I read pages of glowing reviews about this movie and expected a pretty good film. The 2+ hours of disjointed, PC-stereotypical, ridiculously contrived dreck I watched last night couldn't have been the same movie I read about. So where's the real one?The first 30 minutes looked promising, but it completely fell apart. Every character was a grotesque stereotype. Every plot element was a flimsy contrivance that suspended rational thought. Nothing was believable. Nothing was even reasonable. A heavy-handed attempt to be relevant and PC in the immigration debate.
Tommy Lee's directing debut? Keep your day job, Tommy. Or stick to PC themes so you can count on idealogues to pump up the reviews.
