I happened across this Russian movie (1929 silent) late Thursday night while flipping through the TV. The newspaper guide describes it as "A view of Russian machinery and architecture." Actually, it was more about a city coming to life in the morning - it's inhabitants, the trolleys, industrial plants, etc., all awakening to a new day. Occasionally showing the 'man with a movie camera' as he positioned himself for some interesting, and daring, shots. Unfortunately, I fell asleep before it ended (it was quite late!). Just wondering what you thought of it and what city it was filmed in?
