"Dogma" is an irreverent, funny view of religion served up by Kevin Smith (a.k.a. "Silent Bob", director and writer of "Clerks", "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy"). Although there is a lot of reliance on jokes from pop culture (It's "Ironic" who plays God in this movie), some of the philosophical arguments are quite clever, as is the "loophole" in dogma which may lead to annihilation. I think this would make a good double feature with "The Prophecy".Now aren't you glad that you're here in the peaceful "Film Asylum" instead of the Apocalyptic "Music Asylum"?
